Sparkle’s
short but illustrious
career was filled with
accomplishments many
only dream of.
In 1993 she was
the #1 Papillon
bitch
in both the Canine
Chronicle and Saylers
Systems.
She received an
Award of Merit at the
MAP Regional Specialty
and
was also a multiple
Group winner.
A free whelper, Sparkle
produced one puppy in
her first litter who
went on to become a
champion.
Her second litter
produced
Ch. Tuinluv-N-Marquis
Burn Em Up who became a
puppy champion, went
WD/BOW and Best Puppy at
the Greater Chicagoland
Regional Specialty and
was Best in Sweeps at
the Puget Area Papillon
Regional Specialty in
1995.
His
littermate,
Ch. Tuinluv’s Protégé’Su
was also a puppy
champion and has been
awarded BOS at both
Westminster KC and the
Mid Atlantic
Papillon Regional
Specialty in 1996.
"We
called Sparkle our
little House Mouse.
She slept curled
up beside me on my
pillow, ate Cheerios for
breakfast with our
daughter Mikayla and
loved taking naps in the
afternoon in her crib
with her.
She loved to talk
to us out of the corner
of her
mouth with a cow hoof
hanging out of it.
She hated being
crated and had to ride
on one of our laps while
driving to and
from
the
shows.
Sparkle was
spoiled rotten and, yes
she managed to always
get her way.
Whatever she
wanted to do was
just
fine
with us.
She couldn’t
have been more loved!
That beautiful
head piece, ears
dripping in long fringe,
and that ever graceful
moving little body, with
such a dynamite,
fearless attitude she
just couldn’t be
denied her Best in Show
win even after
trying
to
eat the Great Dane in
front of her while
maintaining her gait !"
Sparkle, deceased now
from a tragic accident,
will always be
remembered by everyone
whose path she crossed.
