31st  American All Breed Best in Show Winner

The Fifth Bitch to Achieve this Award

Ch. Marquis Loteki Fortuna - " Tyche "

Ch. Marquis Loteki Fortuna, aka “Tyche”, ( tie-key ), named for the Greek goddess

of good fortune, displayed the characteristics that were to become hallmarks of her

winning ways at an early age. Her exquisite breed type, exemplary movement,

charming head and expression along with an intensely compelling show attitude

combined to create the complete show package. These qualities reflected her

meticulously crafted pedigree, planned to realize a breeder’s oft elusive goal of

creating the ultimate, “Best In Show” dog.

From the first time Tyche wore a show lead she demonstrated her winning ways. She started off her show career at four

months by winning BOB, Group One and Best Puppy in Match at her first match.

Tyche went Winners Bitch and her littermate Ch. Loteki Marquis Zephyrus, “Zephyr” went Winners Dog for a four point major

at their first show. Later, at the Canfield Ohio Shows, she was entered two days of the four day circuit. She went Winners

Bitch each day for back to back five point majors, a Best of Breed and a Group Three from the classes. Later that same

month she was shown at the Patriot Papillon Club Specialty where she received Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex and First

Award of Merit which completed her Championship.

Her show record includes 2nd place in 6-9 puppy bitches at the 2000 PCA National Specialty and Best In Sweepstakes at

the Greater Chicagoland Papillon Club Specialty where Zephyr was Winners Dog and Best of Winners.

After completing her championship Tyche was specialed on a limited basis during which time she won multiple group

placements and the ultimate achievement, Best In Show at the Paintsville Kentucky Kennel Club show in Morehead,

Kentucky. All of Tyche’s accomplishments were owner handled by Paula Ray.

Tyche has been a joyful pleasure to live with. She rules her kingdom and carries herself like the queen she is. She still has

a fearless, show stopping attitude that she calls on every time the refrigerator door is opened !
