He
arrived in New York in
February of 2001, and I
started showing him that
summer,
going RWD at his
first large show. "Danny"
went on to finish his
championship quite
easily and my friend,
Tammie Wilcox, urged me
to continue a "specials" career with him.
He has since been
awarded four Best in
Specialties ( BISS ), one
BOS in Specialty, five
Awards of Merit ( AOM ),
and two
Awards of Merit at the
Westminster Kennel Club
Show.
He has numerous
Group I’s, too many
group placements to
count
and has been nationally
ranked in the top five
Papillons in the breed
the last three years.
He is the top
ranked Papillon in
All Breed Standings for
2005 in the United
States. This has all
been topped off with
this wonderful Best in
Show win.
In October of 2004 Danny
attended a three day
cluster of shows in
Canada, achieving his
Canadian Championship.
Danny’s career as a
special certainly
exceeded the
expectations I had when
I purchased him as a
puppy.
His
breeder,
Chie Ejima, showed him
as a baby puppy in
Japan, quite
successfully.
Before he was six
months old, he won Best
Baby
Puppy In Show and
several Baby King ( Best
Male Puppy In Show )
Awards – a sign of the
future he would have
here in the
United States.
He has been a
wonderful show dog, and
has a lovely, happy,
temperament he passes on
to his offspring.
