Every dollar donated to the AKC-CHF ( Canine Health Fund ) 

is needed and used to promote Papillon Health.

All proceeds are MATCHED by CHF.

Donations and payments made to PCA are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for 

Federal income tax purposes.  PCA is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(7) 

of the Internal Revenue Code and files an annual franchise tax report with the State of Delaware.

2000 - 2002  

PCA ( Papillon Club of America ) funded a 2 year study with Michigan State. Grant No.

2031 : Investigation of Candidate Loci for Progressive Retinal Atrophy in the Collie, Old English

Sheepdog, Papillon, Tibetan terrier and Belgian Tervuren. 

Our portion of the study was $ 22,211. 

PCA has continued to support this study trying to find the markers for PRA.  

Our portion of the study is $ 14,750.

PCA did surveys in 2000 and 2002. These were done to track potential problems and be

progressive in finding solutions.  These may be viewed at the Health Survey link.  

As future problems become evident and research grants funds are sought, 

we will join research to help solve genetic problems.

from the club President upon formal written request. Additionally, the annual information return, exemption application and supporting

documents are available upon formal written request at a cost of $10.00 ( U.S.) per document to cover costs of copying and postage
