Welcome to the Official Web Site of the Papillon Club of America, Inc.

Papillons. . .

fun . . . beauty . . . brains . . . the best of all worlds!

Welcome!!!

Thank you for visiting the Papillon Club of America's comprehensive website. Please spend some time browsing our site and learning more about our wonderful breed. There are educational articles, Papillon history, breeder referrals, club information, membership information, publications for sale and news about our award-winning dogs.

Our breed is made up of two varieties, the erect eared Papillon and the drop eared Phalene. Both are considered to be Papillons by the American Kennel Club and are shown together in breed conformation competition. The Papillon is a wonderful, all-purpose breed that excels in and out of the ring.

If you are looking for a Papillon, you may want to consider an older retired champion from a breeder. Check the breeders’ link for breeders in your area. Also, the PCA supports rescue. Our club promotes taking care of our own breed, through our rescue committee. Please visit the Papillon Club Rescue website, by clicking the link to see dogs up for adoption, or how you can help.

The PCA Board of Directors encourages serious Papillon and Phalene fanciers to join our club and help promote our wonderful butterflies and moths in all their many roles. Our members are found throughout the United States and are often found at AKC dog shows and event trials throughout the year.
We hope you will consider a Papillon or Phalene your next breed of choice as so many of us have done.

Thank you,

The PCA President and Board of Directors
Carol Fredrick, President
Lisa Pertile: Vice President
Lou Ann King: Treasurer
Paula Botwinick: Recording Secretary
Robin Kost: Corresponding Secretary

What's New

Attention Regional Reporters!

Please return to submitting your regional column for Pap Talk. The deadline is the 15th of the month for the following month. Send them to
jnaylor4@bellsouth.net

The months they will be in the Pap Talk are August, October, December, February, April, and June.

Send in the summer news from the shows. Members support your Regional Reporter and send them the show news you have gathered while away at shows.
The members like to read new innovative ways of keeping your dogs cool at hot summer shows, dog snacks, photos etc.
Looking forward to having a full house on columns for the August issue.

Wanted Best In Show photos!

Have you read? The August issue in Pap Talk has been set aside for all Best In Show dogs of the now and the past. Go through your files of photos and pick out your best one, jot down the caption you want to present and scan the photo to me and the sayings you have selected to use.

I don't want to be bombarded all at the last minute because I can't get them all done that fast. I would like to get 3 to 4 per week so I can work on them when my time permits.

I can create a custom ad for you, just supply the photo and the caption and email to jnaylor4@bellsouth.net

Please help make this issue a big success, and think how enjoyable it will be looking through it.

Looking forward to my computer mail box being full of colorful photos. All ads will be $150
The covers are sold, and one inside back cover is available at $200.
